Located steps from the water at Meydenbauer Bay Park in downtown Bellevue, our flagship boathouse is the easiest way to get on Lake Washington. No reservation, no experience, no problem — just show up, grab your gear, and go. Our crew will get you oriented and on the water in minutes.

Meydenbauer Bay's protected cove makes it ideal for beginners and families — calm conditions even when the main lake is choppy, with plenty of space to find your stroke before venturing further. On a clear day, the views across to Seattle are worth the trip on their own.

Our Enatai location sits at the base of Enatai Beach Park, at the entry point to the Mercer Slough Nature Reserve — 180 acres of protected urban wetland and one of the most distinctive paddling environments in the greater Seattle area. This is BKR's home for instruction, guided experiences, and private programming.
