Our story

Community-rooted paddling in the Pacific Northwest

Best Kayak Rentals was built by people who spent years running paddlesports programs across the region — and believed the water should be accessible to everyone, not just the gear-obsessed. We're cooperatively run, locally focused, and genuinely invested in making outdoor recreation more equitable, more joyful, and more sustainable.

Our team brings together expertise in paddlesports instruction, risk management, operations, and outdoor retail — with deep roots in the communities we serve.
